I have always been interested in Yoga.
I started practicing 50 years ago when my children were small and I found it very effective as a way of quietening my mind when I had a very busy lifestyle.
I spent two years working with a senior teacher and then went on to gain qualifications (including physiology) over a further 3 years through the IYA and have been teaching classes for nearly 50 years, the last 8 of them at Iveridge.
I keep my knowledge up to date and am assessed annually through the IYA.
My classes are suitable for beginners and are designed to build up strength and stamina rather than muscle, by correcting posture and building core strength – a good place to start before progressing on to the more challenging yoga classes at Iveridge.
