Alison is a certified yoga instructor who completed her teacher training in 2008.
Hailing from Canada she completed her yoga training as yoga hit the height of popularity in North America. When she first moved to the UK yoga classes were hard to come by and began teaching to only a handful of students.
As the years have gone on she has delighted in seeing the popularity of yoga grow to where it is now with so many students now reaping the rewards of a committed practice.
With over a decade of experience in teaching yoga, as well as being a certified Massage Therapist, Alison brings a vast knowledge of anatomy to the mat in order to safely and effectively guide her students through their practice, making the poses accessible for all.
Alison is known for her creative and challenging flows as well as bringing a sense of humour to the mat, encouraging her students to adopt a playful approach to their practice.
She encourages her students to be easy on themselves, allowing their yoga practice to unfold in its own time. Alison currently teaches Ashtanga, Vinyasa and Prenatal yoga.
In her spare time Alison enjoys working on her own yoga practice as well as weight training in the gym. The rest of her spare time is spent with her young family and the joy that comes from watching them grow and thrive.
