Science has proven that Yoga can have a transformative effect on the body; resulting in everything from lowered blood pressure to disease prevention. These benefits stem from Yoga’s stress reducing properties, through its unique mix of conscious breathing, and mindful physical movement.
We know yoga can often feel intimidating to complete beginners, with worries and misconceptions often stopping them from stepping onto a mat for the first time.
So, at Iveridge, we’e offering a workshop for beginners. “Starting a Yoga Practice”.
This are the perfect gateway to Yoga, introducing the basic elements of the practice; movement, breath and relaxation, while also emphasising basic alignment principles.
Workshop 1 will be gently paced to accommodate everyone and will include both discussion and practice.
The first workshop is 10am to 12pm Sunday January 26th 2020.
